I have heard about issues with reliability.
The Elite series 2 has a lot of features and really great support since its an official product with official support in games. I'm familiar with controllers of this type on the xbox but not for playstation so if somebody wants to make a post in this thread for playstation feel free. Honestly for me after like a day I was completely use to that and the cord doesn't bother me at all. All of these controllers are wired except the Elite series 2 since that is a requirement of third party controllers on xbox. Some of these controllers have extra features like trigger stops, replacement variable height thumbsticks, etc, and some of these extra features are really great but the most important feature imo is still the back buttons/paddles. I thought I'd made a thread for people to see some of their options for third party controllers that do this and for people to post their experiences so we can sort of have a knowledge base of user experiences with different controllers.
The ability to just hit a button/paddle instead of having to adjust finger position for the front face buttons is just huge. It's hard to imagine going back to using a default controller. For the last year, I've been using some variation of different controllers with either paddles or buttons on the back and I think they are just great.
